Introduction to Assertive Community Treatment. The ACT team-based intensive outpatient approach to providing services is designed for adults diagnosed with a serious mental illness and significant difficulty performing practical daily living tasks. ACT 101 Training covers the core principles of ACT, the team approach, specific interventions provided by ACT teams, the stages of ACT participation, and the content of the TMACT fidelity tool, which is used to certify ACT Teams in Oregon.
